Bacon Cheddar Muffins
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon bits
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
Adjust the oven temperature to 375F 190C and prepare a muffin tin by lining it with paper liners
Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl
Beat the egg in a separate bowl and then whisk in the milk and melted butter
Blend until thoroughly blended
Mixing until just combined, pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients
Take care not to blend too much
Stir in the cooked bacon bits and the grated cheddar cheese
Evenly distribute the muffin batter among the muffin tin's muffin cups
A toothpick inserted into the center of the muffins should come out clean after 18 to 20 minutes of baking in a preheated oven
After taking the muffins out of the oven, let them cool in the muffin pan for a few minutes before moving them to a wire rack to finish cooling
