Nigiri Sushi Recipe
Nigiri sushi is a traditional Japanese dish made of fresh fish on top of hand-pressed sushi rice. It's simple but classy, and the flavors of the fish and vinegared rice stand out.
Ingredients:
- 300g sushi rice
- 200ml water
- 4 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt

- Wasabi paste
- Soy sauce
Instructions:
Run cold water over the sushi rice until the water is clear
You can use a rice cooker or the stove to cook the rice with 200ml of water
Sugar, salt, and rice vinegar should be mixed together in a small bowl while the rice is cooking
After the rice is done, put it in a big bowl and mix in the vinegar mixture
Wait for it to cool down
Make thin slices of fish
Wet your hands and roll small balls of rice in them
On top of each rice ball, put a piece of fish
Put wasabi paste and soy sauce on top of the nigiri sushi
